Prior to assuming his present position, Judge served as a collegiate throws coach for over 18 years for several top programs, including the University of Florida, University of Wyoming, University of South Carolina, and Indiana State University. Judge has coached two U.S. record holders, eight Olympians, five NCAA champions, five NCAA runners-up, 102 All-Americans, and 47 conference champions. Holding a maser�s degree in exercise science, a master�s degree in public administration, and a Ph.D. in higher education administration, Judge is the chair of the throws curriculum of USATF Coaches Education division, a USATF master coach, and the author of over 35 articles on strength and conditioning, nutrition, and the throwing events.
