Befor the Covid-19 pandemic shutdown the 2020 NCAA Baseball season, his team started 7-0 and managing one of the toughest stretches in program history, having to play 5 games in 6 days, all against top 10 nationally ranked teams.
Coach John serves as a NCAA Division I chair member for the American Baseball Coaches Association as well coaching USA Baseball teams.
