Common Questions
Will this fit my existing hoop or post?
Rim mounting: Goal mounting holes on 5" horizontal and 5" vertical centers. Board mounting: Key-slots in the horizontal channels spaced 20" vertical and 35" horizontal. Replacing an existing Gared board is a direct fit.
Can I use this backboard indoors and outdoors?
Yes. Powder-coated steel — built for outdoor & playground — it’s suited to both indoor courts and outdoor play.
Does it come with a rim and net?
This listing is for the backboard only. Choose a matching rim and net separately — we can recommend ones that fit.
Do I need backboard padding?
Padding is optional on this board. We carry PRO-MOLD padding that fits if you want the finished, safer look.
Is this a regulation size?
This board is mid-size 60" × 42". Rectangular, great for practice.
