Steve Cleveland, Fresno State's tactician, is a legend. It is amazing how he manages to get the best effort and results from his team every year. Cleveland examines the details of his screening zone offense. It is based upon 11 basic rules and strategies. Your team can improve their chances of winning, reduce turnovers, and expose areas with the inside/out game by implementing screening principles. The screen is a tool that has been used primarily in man to man offenses. Screening the zone will allow your team to execute faster ball reversals and distort each possession. Cleveland's offense features such as overload, kick opposite, and skip pass force constant rotation of your zone. Nine quick hitting specials allow you to create opportunities for your top shooters and put players in the paint. This zone offense can be used to put maximum pressure on any zone defense that your team faces.
