The glass is warranted against breaking or shattering ONLY when used with a Gared Direct Goal Attachment; the Direct Goal Attachment plate must be retained and returned to honor a breakage claim. Excludes damage from improper installation, misuse, disasters, or unauthorized modification.

Rim mounting: Goal mounting holes on standard 5" horizontal x 5" vertical centers; 7/16" (11 mm) diameter holes. Board mounting: Heavy-gauge steel mounting brackets reinforcing the corners; vinyl shock-absorbing material insulates glass from frame; shock-insulating pads between steel goal-mounting plate and glass. Replacing an existing Gared board is a direct fit.
Can I use this backboard outdoors?
No — this tempered-glass board is indoor only. For outdoor courts choose a fiberglass, steel, aluminum, or polycarbonate board and we’ll point you to the right one.
Does it come with a rim and net?
This listing is for the backboard only. Choose a matching rim and net separately — we can recommend ones that fit.
Do I need backboard padding?
Padding is strongly recommended for competition glass and is often required by rule. We carry PRO-MOLD padding sized to fit.
