Additionally, Brian has coached individuals to 39 CIF Championships, 16 CIF Master�s Meet first place finishes, and 14 California State titles. He has also coached four National Champions. Over the past four decades, Brian has been recognized as playing a major role in the development of the sprints and relays in Southern California. Ervin just completed his 19th year of coaching track and field after having stints at the University of Houston, Cypress Springs, and Atascocita High School. He served as the Head Track and Field Coach at Cypress Springs High School in 2007. Ervin ran track at the University of Houston where he competed in the 400 and 800 meters. After the completion of his collegiate career, he served on the Track and Field Coaching Staff at U of H.
