Coaches judge a program by what it drills on. A Bull sitting on your practice field says you expect contact to be taught properly, and it keeps saying it long after the coach who ordered it has moved on. This is the heavy one — the sled programs buy when they are done replacing sleds.
Choose the pad

Every pad is the same price, so pick on the drill rather than the budget. Colour is free too — the Man Grab pad is the one exception, built in Royal with gold handles.
Choose the size
Size is how many players hit it at once. Two and three-man sleds suit position groups. Five, six and seven-man sleds let a whole line fire off together, which is the drill most programs cannot run and the one that shows.
