A one-man sled is where tackling actually gets coached — one player, one rep, a coach close enough to correct it. Programs that run a real tackling station are the ones whose players arrive at the next level already knowing how to strike and wrap.
The SackBak’s live-action spring resists the drive and takes the sled to the ground, so the athlete has to finish rather than lean. Round steel piping and no sharp edges keep it safe at full speed, and the skids ride over grass or turf without chewing it up.
