Common Questions

High school or college goalposts?

High school (NFHS) goalposts use a 23'4" wide crossbar; college (NCAA) goalposts are 18'6" wide. Both stand with a 10' crossbar height and 20'+ uprights. Filter by Level to see the right width for your field.

Permanent/sleeve or surface mount?

Permanent/sleeve-mount goalposts drop into a ground sleeve cast in concrete — the standard for dedicated fields. Surface-mount goalposts bolt to an existing concrete slab, with no excavation. Filter by Mount to match your install. (Running a field house? Ask us about retractable ceiling-hung units.)

Are goalposts sold as a pair? Do pads or sleeves come with them?

Yes — goalposts are priced and sold per pair (one for each end zone). Ground sleeves and safety pads are separate products, matched by post diameter: a 5-9/16" goalpost uses the 5-9/16" ground sleeve and the up-to-6" pad; a 4-1/2" goalpost uses the 4-1/2" sleeve and up-to-4-1/2" pad. Add them to complete the setup.

How does freight work — when do I get the shipping price?

Goalposts ship by motor freight (they're long, heavy items), so shipping isn't shown as an instant rate online. Request a quote with your delivery ZIP code and dock/liftgate details, and we'll send the exact freight cost with your goalpost pricing — no surprises at checkout.
