Weighted Basketball Team Pack

Outfit Your Whole Roster With Weighted Basketballs

The weighted basketball team pack is 15 training balls in one order, so every player trains at once instead of waiting a turn. Each ball weighs about twice a regulation ball to build stronger passing, harder dribbling, and tougher rebounding across your whole team. Pick men's 29.5 inch 3 lb or women's 28.5 inch 2.75 lb, in durable rubber for $299.99 or premium indoor composite leather for $449.99.

Why teams use it

One pack equips the whole group, so you can run resistance work as a team and get everyone stronger in the same practice.

  • 15 balls, enough for a full roster to train together
  • Builds passing power, a tighter handle, and stronger rebounding
  • Fits the drills your team already runs, no extra equipment
  • Men's 29.5 inch and women's or youth 28.5 inch sizes
  • Rubber for indoor and outdoor, or composite leather for a premium indoor feel
  • Priced below 15 singles

Why Train a Whole Team on Weighted Basketballs?

When players train with resistance and switch back to a normal ball, everything feels lighter and quicker. The problem for coaches is doing it as a team, a couple of balls means players stand around and wait. With 15 balls, the whole group trains at once, so your passing, dribbling, and rebounding drills run full speed and every player gets the reps.

Coaching point: keep players at true game spacing during weighted drills, then switch the team to regulation balls so they feel the difference in live play.

What Does It Build?

Athlete gripping a HoopsKing weighted basketball with both hands to build passing power

Players have to snap the ball with real power to complete the same passes at game spacing, so passes come out with more zip and accuracy. Dribbling the heavier ball forces them to pound it to keep control, building wrist, hand, and finger strength for a tighter, quicker handle. On the glass, squeezing and securing the heavy ball builds the hand and forearm strength that wins rebounds.

Coaching point: grab a second pack or run pairs so players can do two-ball passing and dribbling. It doubles the strength work per rep.

Rubber or composite

Which Team Pack Is Right for Your Program?

Both packs are the same 15 balls and build the same strength. The difference is the cover. On price, the rubber pack is $299.99 and the composite leather pack is $449.99, so composite runs about $150 more for the game ball feel across all 15.

Weighted Basketball Team Pack FAQ

How many basketballs come in the team pack?

Fifteen weighted basketballs, so your whole roster can train at the same time with no sharing and no standing around.

What size and material do I choose?

Each pack is one size and one material: men's 29.5 inch 3 lb or women's 28.5 inch 2.75 lb, in rubber for $299.99 or composite leather for $449.99.

Can I mix sizes or materials in one pack?

Each 15 ball pack is a single size and material. For a mixed roster, order the packs you need, or add singles of the HeavyTrainer weighted basketball for the odd sizes.

Is the team pack cheaper than buying 15 singles?

Yes. The 15 ball pack is priced below 15 individual balls, so it is the budget way to equip a full team or program.

Is the composite leather pack better for indoor training?

Yes. The composite leather pack is the indoor pick, with the soft, tacky feel of a game ball on a wood floor. The rubber pack handles indoor and outdoor courts and costs less.

How does a team train with weighted basketballs?

Run your normal passing, dribbling, and rebounding drills with the whole group on the weighted balls, then switch to regulation balls so players feel lighter, quicker, and stronger.
