The glass portion is warranted against breaking or shattering ONLY when used with a Direct Goal Attachment provided by Gared; the Direct Goal Attachment plate must be retained and returned with proof of purchase for any breakage claim. Excludes improper installation, misuse, unauthorized modification, and disasters (fire, flood, wind, lightning).

Will this fit my existing hoop or post?
Rim mounting: Goal mounting holes on standard 5" horizontal and 4" vertical centers. Board mounting: 3/8-16 UNC studs and 3/8-16 UNC threaded inserts; acrylic cushioning pad and vinyl shock-absorbing material insulate the glass from the frame. Replacing an existing Gared board is a direct fit.
Can I use this backboard outdoors?
No — this tempered-glass board is indoor only. For outdoor courts choose a fiberglass, steel, aluminum, or polycarbonate board and we’ll point you to the right one.
Does it come with a rim and net?
This listing is for the backboard only. Choose a matching rim and net separately — we can recommend ones that fit.
Do I need backboard padding?
Padding is strongly recommended for competition glass and is often required by rule. We carry PRO-MOLD padding sized to fit.
Is this a regulation size?
This board is regulation 72" × 42". Full rectangular, official size.
What’s the warranty and how does it ship?
Lifetime warranty against defects in material or factory workmanship for the life of intended use. The glass portion is warranted against breaking or shattering ONLY when used with a Direct Goal Attachment provided by Gared; the Direct Goal Attachment plate must be retained and returned with proof of purchase for any breakage claim.
