Rent Basketball Coaching Videos via Mail

Wouldn't you like to become a better coaching in the next week? What if I told you you could double or triple your knowledge of the game in just a few short months? How much would you pay to double your coaching knowledge? Many coaches think they can just get by year to year on experience alone and looking up some new plays or drills on the Internet.

That is a recipe for stagnation. You see if you really want to become a great basketball coach you need to study the game and learn from the best coaches in the business. Now you can travel to coaching clinics, pay for hotel rooms, food, admission to the clinic, and then sit on those really comfortable bleachers for 8 hours. Oh, and you'll hopefully someone will cover exactly what you are looking for. Now that's just the beginning of your problems attending a coaching clinic - because each coach is limited in the amount of time they have on the court so they can only cover so much.

Don Kelbick's Motion Offense by Don Kelbick Instructional Basketball Coaching Video
Don Kelbick (Rental)-Don Kelbick's Motion Offense $34.99
Unleashing the Power of Kelbick Motion Offense: A Comprehensive Guide Introduction Welcome to our comprehensive guide on the Kelbick Motion Offense, a dynamic and versatile basketball strategy that will revolutionize your team's offensive game. In this article, we will delve into the intricacies of the Kelbick Motion Offense, providing you with expert insights, advanced techniques, and detailed breakdowns to help you outperform your opponents on the court. Whether you're a coach, player, or basketball enthusiast, this guide is your key to unlocking the full potential of the Kelbick Motion Offense. Understanding the Kelbick Motion Offense The Kelbick Motion Offense, developed by renowned basketball coach Coach Kelbick, is an innovative offensive system designed to create constant movement, spacing, and scoring opportunities for the entire team. This fast-paced and flexible approach emphasizes player motion, quick decision-making, and intelligent reads to exploit defensive weaknesses and generate high-percentage shots. Key Principles of the Kelbick Motion Offense 1. Continuous Player Movement One of the fundamental principles of the Kelbick Motion Offense is continuous player movement. Instead of players standing stagnant or running set plays, the offense encourages constant motion, cuts, and screens. This movement keeps the defense guessing, creates confusion, and opens up scoring opportunities for teammates. 2. Spacing and Floor Balance Proper spacing and floor balance are essential aspects of the Kelbick Motion Offense. Players must maintain optimal spacing to stretch the defense and create passing lanes. Additionally, maintaining floor balance ensures that there are always options for ball movement and enables players to attack both the perimeter and the paint effectively. 3. Read and React The Kelbick Motion Offense places a strong emphasis on player decision-making and reading the defense. Players must develop the ability to recognize defensive rotations, identify mismatches, and make quick and intelligent decisions based on those reads. This read-and-react mentality keeps the offense unpredictable and allows players to exploit defensive weaknesses. Implementing the Kelbick Motion Offense To successfully implement the Kelbick Motion Offense, teams must focus on key strategies and techniques. Let's explore some of the essential elements that will enhance your team's offensive prowess: 1. Establishing Proper Player Positions In the Kelbick Motion Offense, it is crucial to establish proper player positions on the court. Each player has specific responsibilities and areas of operation to ensure optimal spacing and movement. These positions may include point guard, wing players, and post players, each with unique roles and responsibilities within the offense. 2. Screening and Cutting Screening and cutting are integral components of the Kelbick Motion Offense. Players must set screens to create separation, force defensive switches, and create scoring opportunities for teammates. Simultaneously, off-ball players should make intelligent cuts to the basket, relocate to open areas, or create passing options for the ball handler. This continuous screening and cutting disrupt the defense and open up scoring chances. 3. Ball Movement and Unselfish Play Ball movement is a cornerstone of the Kelbick Motion Offense. Players should focus on making quick, accurate passes, and constantly look for opportunities to create advantages for teammates. Unselfish play, sharing the ball, and making the extra pass are key to maintaining offensive flow, confusing the defense, and finding open scoring opportunities. The Benefits of the Kelbick Motion Offense Implementing the Kelbick Motion Offense offers numerous benefits that can elevate your team's offensive capabilities. Let  me highlight some key advantages of incorporating the Kelbick Motion Offense into your team's strategy: 1. Constant Movement and Engagement The Kelbick Motion Offense promotes constant movement and engagement from all players on the court. With players continuously cutting, screening, and relocating, the offense keeps the defense on its toes and prevents them from settling into a comfortable rhythm. This dynamic movement creates opportunities for players to receive the ball in advantageous positions, leading to increased scoring chances and offensive efficiency. 2. Versatility and Adaptability The Kelbick Motion Offense is highly versatile and adaptable to different game situations and defensive strategies. By emphasizing player reads and reactions, the offense enables players to make quick decisions based on the defense's movements. This adaptability allows your team to exploit defensive weaknesses, adjust to changing game dynamics, and maintain offensive effectiveness regardless of the opponent's defensive approach. 3. Increased Floor Spacing and Ball Movement Proper spacing and ball movement are essential elements of the Kelbick Motion Offense. By emphasizing floor balance and optimal spacing, the offense creates open passing lanes, stretches the defense, and increases the likelihood of finding open teammates. The continuous ball movement not only keeps the defense scrambling but also allows players to find high-percentage shots and create scoring opportunities for the entire team. 4. Enhanced Player Development Implementing the Kelbick Motion Offense fosters player development on multiple fronts. The emphasis on reading the defense, making quick decisions, and executing precise passes enhances players' basketball IQ and decision-making abilities. Additionally, the offense encourages teamwork, communication, and unselfish play, which contribute to a positive team dynamic and individual player growth. 5. Offensive Efficiency and Scoring Balance The Kelbick Motion Offense promotes offensive efficiency and scoring balance. With its emphasis on player movement, spacing, and unselfish play, the offense creates a well-rounded attack that involves multiple players. This balanced scoring approach prevents opponents from focusing solely on shutting down one player and increases the overall effectiveness of your team's offensive output. Conclusion The Kelbick Motion Offense is a game-changing strategy that can revolutionize your team's offensive performance. By implementing the key principles, techniques, and strategies outlined in this guide, you will equip your team with the tools to outperform opponents and unlock the full potential of the Kelbick Motion Offense. Remember, mastering this offense requires practice, teamwork, and a commitment to constant improvement. So, embrace the motion, empower your players, and watch your team thrive on the court. Miller, a three-time Pac-12 Coach of the Year at Arizona, provides everything you need to know to go toe-to-toe with the best pressure defenses around. With footage from two different clinics, Coach Miller shares with you how to aggressively attack any pressure defense. Creating Space One thing that will help defeat pressure is creating space. Coach Miller shows you how your players can create space by changing speeds, using body contact, using glide dribbling, and more. You also see how to change directions to get the ball in bounds, open up the floor, and create offense. Miller demonstrates the Big-X Passing Drill which simulates a half-court trapping defense. Players learn to deal with the chaos of a half-court trap and how to defeat it using simple rules. Full-Court Inbounds Situations Coach Miller takes you through full-court pressure situations and shows you how to get the ball inbounds. He reviews when you can run the baseline and when you cannot. Each situation offers three different outlets to get the ball up the floor – sideline, middle, and crack back. The aggressiveness of Miller’s press attack forces indecision on the part of the defense. The press offense that Miller presents is effective against a 1-2-1-1 or a 2-2-1. You’ll get the ball inbounds quickly, advance up the floor, and get into your offense. Coach Miller also goes over an end-of-game situation when you need to go the length of the floor and score. Attacking Pressure Zones What you do not want to do against extended zone pressure is over-dribble. Coach Miller reviews “Ping passing” which prevents this. You will see the “Logo” set where the offense moves the ball from side to side looking to get to the middle of the floor and force the defense to decide. Miller also introduces the Flood concept which results in open three-point attempts and layups. Whether you're a coach, player, or basketball enthusiast, this guide is your key to unlocking the full potential of the Hybrid Flex Offense. Understanding the Hybrid Flex Offense The Hybrid Flex Offense is a highly effective offensive strategy that combines elements of both the Flex Offense and the Read and React Offense. This hybrid approach emphasizes continuous motion, player movement, and intelligent decision-making to create scoring opportunities and keep the defense off balance. By implementing the Hybrid Flex Offense, your team can gain a significant advantage by capitalizing on its versatility and adaptability. Key Principles of the Hybrid Flex Offense 1. Continuous Motion and Player Movement The Hybrid Flex Offense is characterized by continuous motion and player movement. Players are constantly in motion, setting screens, making cuts, and relocating to create scoring opportunities. This constant movement keeps the defense guessing and creates openings for teammates to exploit. 2. Intelligent Decision-Making and Read and React Intelligent decision-making is a crucial aspect of the Hybrid Flex Offense. Players must make quick and accurate decisions based on the movements of the defense. The offense incorporates elements of the Read and React Offense, allowing players to read the defense and react accordingly. This flexibility enables players to adapt to various defensive strategies and exploit weaknesses effectively. 3. Ball Movement and Spacing Ball movement and spacing play integral roles in the success of the Hybrid Flex Offense. Players must make crisp passes, utilizing proper spacing to create passing angles and open up scoring opportunities. The offense emphasizes unselfish play and encourages players to move the ball quickly to keep the defense on its toes. Implementing the Hybrid Flex Offense To successfully implement the Hybrid Flex Offense, teams must focus on key strategies and techniques. Let's explore some of the essential elements that will enhance your team's offensive prowess: 1. Establishing Proper Player Positions Proper player positions are crucial in the Hybrid Flex Offense. Each player has specific responsibilities and areas of operation to ensure optimal spacing and movement. This includes positions such as point guard, wing players, and post players, each with unique roles and responsibilities within the offense. 2. Screening and Cutting Screening and cutting are fundamental components of the Hybrid Flex Offense. Players must set screens to create separation, force defensive switches, and create scoring opportunities for teammates. Simultaneously, off-ball players should make intelligent cuts to the basket or relocate to open areas, creating passing options for the ball handler. This continuous screening and cutting keep the defense off balance and open up scoring chances. 3. Read and React to the Defense The Read and React aspect of the Hybrid Flex Offense requires players to read the defense and make decisions accordingly. Players must be able to recognize defensive rotations, identify mismatches, and make quick and intelligent decisions based on those reads. This adaptability allows the offense to exploit defensive weaknesses and maximize scoring opportunities. The Benefits of the Hybrid Flex Offense Implementing the Hybrid Flex Offense offers numerous benefits that can elevate your team's offensive capabilities. Let's explore some key advantages: 1. Versatility and Adaptability The Hybrid Flex Offense  offers exceptional versatility and adaptability. By combining elements of the Flex Offense and the Read and React Offense, the Hybrid Flex Offense allows your team to adjust and respond to various defensive strategies. Whether the defense employs tight man-to-man coverage or switches to zone defense, the Hybrid Flex Offense provides options and counters to exploit any defensive scheme effectively. 2. Continuous Offensive Flow With its emphasis on constant motion and player movement, the Hybrid Flex Offense generates a continuous offensive flow. The seamless integration of screens, cuts, and player rotations keeps the defense scrambling and unable to fully recover. This offensive fluidity leads to open scoring opportunities and prevents the defense from establishing a solid defensive foundation. 3. High-Percentage Shots The Hybrid Flex Offense aims to create high-percentage shots for your team. Through intelligent decision-making, precise passing, and effective player movement, the offense generates open looks near the basket and creates spacing for perimeter shots. This focus on high-percentage shots maximizes your team's shooting efficiency and increases the likelihood of scoring. 4. Multiple Pressing System in the Full & Half Court by Kurt Guelsdorf Instructional Basketball Coaching Video
Kurt Guelsdorf (Rental)-Multiple Pressing System in the Full & Half Court $18.99
Multiple Basketball Press Defense:  Pressing System in the Full & Half Court: Using a Numbering System to Simplify Your Presses Kurt Guelsdorf, former girls head coach at Oregon City (OR) High School, used a multiple pressing system to lead his teams to over 450 wins and three state championships (2004, 2009, 2014). In this video, Coach Guelsdorf shares with you the pressing system that created a fun, up-tempo style of play that led to his program’s success. You’ll see exactly how he switched coverages instantly to confuse opponents. The Basketball Press Defense System Coach Guelsdorf’s system uses a variety of presses from man-to-man to zone presses like the 2-2-1, 1-2-2, and the Diamond 1-2-1-1. What makes Coach Guelsdorf’s system so easy is the use of a numbering system. Once the numbering system is mastered, Guelsdorf shows you how to break the court into thirds in an effort to teach players where they need to be to force the offense and create trapping angles. Basketball Press Defense Coaching Points One of Coach Guelsdorf’s most important coaching points related to pressing defenses is that you are going to give up some easy points at times. He preaches that you cannot make the same mistake three times in a row. Pressing teams have to be able to adjust on the fly and Coach Guelsdorf’s system allows for that. The pressure will break down some times, but players must be reminded that the system wears opponents down over the course of a game creating opportunities later in games. As far as the technical aspect of pressing defenses, Coach Guelsdorf will talk about the “closest man” rule which makes using any press simple. Players must have active hands, feet, and eyes at all times. They also must be able to sprint from one side of the floor to the other to give the appearance that there are no holes in your press. If you do get beat at some point, the ability to trail and tip is a key in recovering.
