Under Dudley in 2004, the Bulldogs posted six top 10 finishes including back-to-back ninth-place showings at the Southeastern Conference championship and NCAA South Regional. Senior Gedamu Ege led State as the team's top finisher on four occasions. As a sophomore, Ryan Irwin won the 6K race of the MSU Short Course Invitational. In 2003, the first men's cross country season at MSU in seven years, the Bulldogs opened with a second-place showing at the Sewanee Invitational and followed with another second-place finish at the Memphis Twilight Classic. State won the Bulldog and MSU (6K) Invitationals, while taking third at the Crimson Classic. At the SEC Championships, the Maroon and White took eighth and ended the season taking 10th at the NCAA South Regional. Individually, Ege was named SEC Athlete of the Week on Oct. 27, 2004, for his performance at the MSU Invitational. Chris Boldt garnered CoSIDA Academic all-District honors for his work in the classroom. In two seasons, Dudley's squads have posted two team wins and 15 top 10 finishes. Twenty-four MSU athletes have finished in the top 10 individually during the span. Prior to returning to his alma mater, Dudley helped rebuild the Bevill State cross country program into a power in the NJCAA. Both the men's and women's squads captured the Region 22 title in 1999, with the men's team going on to finish seventh nationally. The Bears also won the 1998 Region 22 title en route to a third-place national showing. Before entering the coaching ranks, Dudley served as a captain for MSU's track team from 1991 to 1995. While at State, he was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for three years (1993-1995). A native of Hamilton, Ala., Dudley currently ranks fifth on MSU's all-time superlatives list in two categories ?? the indoor 5000-meter run and the outdoor 10,000-meter run.

In three seasons, Elliott has rejuvenated both programs and restored the women�s team to national prominence. Elliott guided the Clemson women to ACC Indoor and Outdoor Championships in 2015, just one year after finishing no better than eighth as a team. The Tigers also claimed a 12th-place tie at the NCAA Indoor Championships following Natoya Goule�s title run in the 800 meters. Goule was named ACC Women�s Indoor Track Performer of the Year and broke the ACC record in her specialty event after winning the Jamaican National Championship in June 2015. She earned a berth in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Elliott earned several high marks for his achievements with the Tiger women. He was named ACC Coach of the Year for both seasons, and USTFCCCA Southeast Region Indoor Coach of the Year as well.

Davis enjoyed a great deal of success in the 2019 season, specifically in track and field as the Knights were the East Coast Conference runners-up on the men's side of the outdoor championship meet. Queens recorded 22 All-Conference nods in the ECC Outdoor Track and Field Championship with Pavan Bhat registering three All-ECC First Team nods in his debut campaign. Diana Cruz concluded her stellar career at QC with victories in the 500-meter run in the indoor track and field championship as well as winning the 400-meter run at the outdoor championship. The 2018-19 season also featured five All-Conference nominations in the indoor track and field championship as well as seventh-place finishes on both sides of the ECC Cross Country Championship meet. In his first season with the Knights, Davis sized up the competition in the ECC with seventh and eighth place finishes in the cross country and track and field championships.� Davis comes to Queens after spending four seasons at fellow NCAA Division II institution Virginia State University of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA). While at Virginia State, Davis served as an assistant coach for the Trojans� men�s and women�s track & field teams, with an emphasis on jumps and multi events, while serving as interim head coach for the track & field and cross country teams during the 2016 season. During his time with the Trojans, Davis coached 48 All-CIAA performers and five All-Americans. Virginia State had 12 CIAA outdoor individual champions and eight CIAA indoor individual champions. As interim head coach of the cross country program last season, Davis led the Virginia State men�s team to a runner-up finish at the CIAA Cross Country Championships. Two of his runners placed in the top 10. Prior to Virginia State, Davis coached at the high school level for four years. He served as an assistant coach for the track & field teams at Meadowbrook High School in Chesterfield, Va., before becoming head coach of the track & field and cross country teams at Huguenot High School in Richmond, Va. Davis coached four Virginia High School League (VHSL) state champions, and he also has had two qualifiers for the North American, Central American and Caribbean Under-23 Games during his coaching career. Davis graduated from Virginia State in 2008 with a bachelor�s degree in health & physical education, where he was an All-CIAA performer on the Trojans� track & field team. He also holds numerous coaching certifications from the USATF and USTFCCCA.

Gallagher won the mile run at the 2015 Penn Relays, posting a world-leading time of 4:34.42.� She then finished third in the 1500 at the 2015 USATF Outdoor Championships to qualify for the World Championships in Beijing, China. Gallagher followed that up to her first career victory in Europe, running a personal-best 4:03.56 in Lignano, Italy, before reaching the semifinals at Worlds. She has participated in three U.S. Championships, placing fifth in 2013, and made the semifinals at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team Trials.�In addition, Gallagher is a three-time champion and the course record-holder at the Army Ten Miler, and she took second in the Wanamaker Mile at the 2016 Millrose Games. After a standout career at Fordham, Gallagher began her coaching career as an assistant at American under Matt Centrowitz. She spent five years with the Eagles, working primarily with the women�s distance squad. During the 2014 outdoor season, American�s 4x800 meter relay team broke a nine-year-old school record and qualified for the ECAC Championships. A 2011 Fordham graduate with a degree in mathematics, she was a two-year captain of the cross country and track teams. Gallagher set six school records and won four Atlantic 10 titles during her time with the Rams. She still holds the Atlantic 10 meet records in the indoor 1000 meters and mile, as well as the outdoor 800 meters. Gallagher also earned�ESPN The Magazine�Academic All-District honors and received the 2011 Hobbes Family Award as Fordham�s Female Student-Athlete of the Year. A five-time team MVP, she was named to the Fordham Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2017.
