He has worked with United States Track and Field field event athletes since 2009.This includes throwers such as Joe Kovacs, Jared Schuurmans, Sean Furey, Tia Brooks, and Kara Winger.� Kara Winger is the current women's javelin world leader in both distance and World Athletics rankings. She became the first American javelin woman in history to medal at the World Athletics Championships when she earned silver in 2022 in Eugene. She retired this September after setting the American Record for the second time in her career, a 68.11m (223-05.5) win in Brussels, and winning the first ever American Diamond League Final trophy in Zurich. Jamie Myers has been her strength coach since 2009 and comprehensive training coordinator since 2017.
