As a rookie in 2005, he poured in 27 goals for the Baltimore Bayhawks and was named Most Valuable Player of the MLL All-Star Game. In 2007 and 2008, he played for the Boston Cannons.A four-time first-team All-American at Syracuse University, Powell is the only two-time winner of the Tewaaraton Trophy, given to the most outstanding collegiate lacrosse player in the United States. He won the Jack Turnbull Award as the top attackman in Division I lacrosse four consecutive times. He also led the Orangemen to the Final Four in each of his four seasons and to NCAA Division I championships in 2002 and 2004. In 66 career games, he totaled 150 goals and 157 assists for 307 points.

Not likely.Well, the Chicago Machine of Major League Lacrosse had such fortune in 2008 when it received Tewaaraton Trophy winner Mike Leveille in a draft day trade from the New Jersey Pride. Leveille was named college lacrosse�s top player in 2008, leading Syracuse to the NCAA Division I championship. He rewarded the Machine in his first season, totaling 18 goals and 18 assists for 36 points while playing alongside older brother Kevin for the first time competitively. Leveille earned USILA All-America honors in all four seasons at Syracuse, including a first-team nod in 2008.

He had an 8-4 record and a .551 save percentage and led the Outlaws to the best regular-season record in the Western Conference and into the MLL Championship Game, where they lost to the Rochester Rhinos. Along the way, Schwartzman represented the Western Conference at the MLL All-Star Game.He returned to the All-Star Game in 2009, playing for the Young Guns squad. He also led MLL with an 11.28 goals-against-averageSchwartzman enjoyed a standout career at Johns Hopkins University and helped lead the Blue Jays to NCAA Division I championships as both a sophomore in 2005 and a senior in 2007, winning the Most Outstanding Player award at each Final Four. As a three-year starter, he garnered several All-American honors and led the nation with a 6.68 goals-against-average in 2005.
